Grains Market Access Council

The Grains Market Access Council (GMAC) manages a cross-commodity and whole-of-industry approach to identifying strategic opportunities and predicting risks. 

GMAC includes industry representatives and experts from across the supply chain and representatives from each of the Commodity Councils to ensure cross-commodity perspectives.

Information and advice

For trade and market access matters, Grains Australia draws on information and advice from other relevant groups and organisations to ensure a wide variety of expertise and perspectives are considered, including:

Grains Australia also participates as a member of the Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry’s Grain and Plant Products Export Industry Consultative Committee (GPPEICC)GPPEICC is the principal forum for the Federal Government to consult with grain, fodder, nuts, seed, and timber industries on export inspection and certification, export market access and other relevant issues.
