Wheat customers in Southeast Asia have indicated that Grains Australia’s wheat quality seminars are likely to strengthen their propensity to use Australian wheat.

Grains Australia delivered Australian wheat quality seminars to more than 250 flour millers, food manufacturers, grain traders and other grains industry representatives across Vietnam, Thailand, the Philippines, Indonesia and Malaysia.

The 2026 seminars continue the Australian wheat industry’s long-standing commitment to providing targeted education, technical support and training to help customers understand and use Australian grain effectively.

The seminars focused on the quality and functionality of Australian wheat for noodles, bread and other products, including the crucial role of Australia’s world-leading classification system, which is managed by Grains Australia.

Feedback from participants was positive, with 50% reporting that the seminar had definitely increased their willingness to buy or use Australian wheat.

Providing ongoing market education is highly appreciated by customers and makes it more likely they will continue to purchase from Australia.
