Integration of Grains Australia and AEGIC

In order to better support the Australian grains industry and its customers, the functions formerly delivered by AEGIC are now part of Grains Australia.

The AEGIC name and brand has been retired and will no longer be used. Communication that previously came from AEGIC now comes from Grains Australia. 

AEGIC’s former key functions – market insights, market education and technical market solutions – are unified and strengthened under the Grains Australia banner, alongside classification and trade and market access. This creates a single, coordinated and efficient organisation that builds on existing collaboration to deliver stronger outcomes for the grains industry, domestically and internationally.

The work Grains Australia and AEGIC has been doing to support growers, the industry, and grain customers is continuing and growing under the Grains Australia banner. The integration allows us to better collaborate across the grains value chain to prioritise initiatives that deliver maximum value for growers, industry and customers.

Within Grains Australia, initiatives will be more targeted and efficient, and better aligned with industry priorities. 

This is a positive step forward for Australia’s grains industry and its customers domestically and worldwide.
