Integration of Grains Australia and AEGIC
To deliver even greater value for Australian grain growers and customers, Grains Australia and AEGIC are coming together as one integrated organisation.
The integration unites AEGIC’s expertise in market insights and market education with Grains Australia’s existing responsibility for these functions, as well as classification and trade and market access. This will create a single, coordinated and efficient organisation that builds on existing collaboration to deliver stronger outcomes for the grains industry, domestically and internationally.
The work Grains Australia and AEGIC has been doing to support growers, the industry, and grain customers will continue and grow under the Grains Australia banner.
This is a positive step forward for Australia’s grains industry and its customers domestically and worldwide.
The integration is expected to be complete in 2026.
Grains Australia is an initiative of the Grains Research & Development Corporation (GRDC).
