Grains Australia is pleased to announce that the Oat Varietal Classification Technical Committee has classified Seednet’s oat variety Koala as a milling oat, under the new National Oat Variety Classification Framework.

This classification will open the door for Seednet’s first milling oat release.

Grains Australia congratulates Seednet and the South Australian Research and Development Institute breeding program that worked to bring this variety to the marketplace.
