Grains Australia is inviting Expressions of Interest (EOIs) for two positions on its Oat Council and one position on its Pulse Council.

These roles are to fill recent vacancies and offer a valuable opportunity to contribute to the strategic direction of the Australian oat and pulse industries.

The Oat Council positions are for a bulk exporter, a domestic processor, or someone with skills in both areas.

For the Pulse Council position, Grains Australia is seeking applicants with export/trade skills and/or pulse value-adding experience.

Grains Australia, an initiative of the Grains Research and Development Corporation, manages classification, market access, market insights and market education to enhance industry competitiveness and profitability.

Grains Australia’s Commodity Councils and the Grains Market Access Council provide advice to the Grains Australia Board, to assist it in developing Grains Australia’s strategic direction to create outcomes of value to the Australian grains industry.

“Our Councils play a key role in how we consult effectively with industry and ensure that we incorporate information and perspectives from across all commodities and the entire grains value chain,” Grains Australia Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Richard Simonaitis said.

Those with the required expertise are required to complete the EOI form online on the Grains Australia website before 5pm AEST on Friday, November 28.

For enquiries regarding the Council’s operations or the EOI process, please email commodity.councils@grainsaustralia.com.au.
